" I am one of those parents that thought teaching a kid how to swim was an easy task. I learned my lesson the day I took my 6 year old to a pool party where she had her first near drowning experience. She was happily playing in the shallow end and jumped to far over to the right and lost her footing. The fear I experienced that afternoon was life changing. After that she became anxious around water and did not want o get in any type of body of water. Through ISR lessons she has learned how to float, open her eyes under water, hold her breath, and how to roll over and pull herself up on the side of a pool. These survival skills are crucial and I could not have asked for a better teacher than Ms. Dana. She has been patient with her and shows her a great kindness throughout the lessons."
